THANKYOU to all the people that have written to me over the last week. I can’t believe how many emails and comments both here and on facebook I have received after last week’s post. And to all those who haven’t written to me but who saw me and just gave me an extra long hug and a kiss on the forehead, I thank you too. Thankyou for all your support in this difficult time friends.
I’ve been trying to relax this week and take some time out, with time in Bath staying with some friends watching films, Horrible Histories cartoons, listening to records (try Linda Perhacs above), lying under the stars on a trampoline, walking through parks, going on swings and re-reading Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.
Today I went to the early 8am service at my local church in Bramhall (St Michael & All Angels) and enjoyed a beautiful, quiet, reflective service with Fr David Stoter leading, and I was happy to see my friend and the recently ordained Deacon Paul David Deakin in his robes alongside him. A really good service.
I’ll write more next week.
