Prayer

Late night tidying and a lot of progress made.  On the pile of papers I needed to file here and there, I found the order of service from my trip to Lampeter (which was in February, I really should tidy more regularly). Lovely to find this quote for meditation on the back, before I go to sleep…

Prayer enables us to discover where to find rest for our soul. And we are shown a reality hidden from our eyes: by the mysterious presence of his Holy Spirit, Christ is always with us. And the heart, even when overwhelmed by trials, can begin to sing anew: “Your compassion has visited me”.
