Lent 2012: Day Twelve

Galatians 3:23 Now before faith came, we were imprisoned and guarded under the law until faith would be revealed.

Christ brought us Gospel. He told us to drop our beliefs of self-importance and stop weighing too much of our lives on apparent certainties and oppressive, excluding, isolating rules. Jesus took apart verses of the Old Testament / Hebrew Bible and said often, you have heard this, but I say to you something different. Stop the oppression. Stop the rejection. Stop dividing humanity and be respectful. Be transfigured. Be welcoming, be open, be love.

Galatians 3:23 Now before faith came, we were imprisoned and guarded under the law until faith would be revealed.
