In the Bleak Midwinter

Early Song of the Week seeing as Christmas approaches…

In the Bleak Midwinter is a personal favourite of mine. It still brings tears to my eyes sometimes. The beauty never detracts over time…

In the bleak midwinter a stable place sufficed… so let’s make sure to be thankful for the many many things we have, even if we forget the sprouts – although personally I’d prefer it that way. 🙂

A beautiful kiss from a mother to her child two and a half minutes in. See God in one another this year, as well as in the memory of his birth. And feel the Spirit inside yourself. God’s Love for you.

…Yet what I can I give Him: give my heart.
