After posting on poetry yesterday and my RS essay the day before, and speaking of the importance of passion in words used, in proper thought and not in wielding for mindless wounding, I thought it would be good to share a memorable phrase from Natsume Sōseki…

I believe that words uttered in passion contain a greater living truth than do those words which express thoughts rationally conceived. It is blood that moves the body. Words are not meant to stir the air only: they are capable of moving greater things.

Also, my regular readers will know I’m big on Harry Potter. 😀

In the last Harry Potter film, Professor Albus Dumbledore said:

Words are, in my not so humble opinion, our most inexhaustible source of magic; capable of both inflicting injury and remedying it.
