Congratulations to William & Catherine

A lovely ceremony and a lovely event to watch! Truly beautiful. What a momentous occasion. All the best to the happy couple.

And yesterday evening a section on the back of The Church of England newspaper pointed me to a rather amusing video to draw my day of festivities to a close…

The YouTube clip, part of a T-Mobile advertising campaign, features actors playing various members of the royal party all jiving and gyrating down the aisle at Westminster Abbey. In the clip, serious music greets the wedding procession before
breaking into East 17’s former hit House of Love. Convincing look-a-likes play Dr Rowan Williams, Prince William, Prince Harry, Kate Middleton, Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall as they prance towards the altar.

A spokesperson for Lambeth Palace assured The Church of England Newspaper that it did not feature the real Archbishop but had, nevertheless, been greatly appreciated by his staff.
