I was at the first meeting of Encounter tonight, with spiritual music, reflections and prayers.
During some time of quiet we were invited to visit different prayer stations around the church, one of which held a globe of the earth on it. The card next to asked us to fill out our dream for the world on a post-it note and stick it on the globe. By the end I came to read each one, and each carried a vision for peace, charity and love among all of humanity.
For it come we have to make a difference ourselves. Not be afraid to stand outside the box. Give. Love. Be open to all.
One day those dreams will come, and when they do, we will have brought the Kingdom of God to earth. And I think that’s what we’re meant to do.
Again I am reminded of Let us pursue all that makes for peace…
